EIPHNH   YMIN

My name is Charles P. Poole Jr.  On the Feast of St. Patrick, anno Domini 2006, I established this independent website.  My background was Jesuitical, Brooklyn Prep, St. Andrew-on-Hudson Novitiate (7 months), and Fordham University.   My career was physical,  teaching Physics, and conducting research and writing about Magnetic Resonance, Superconductivity, and more recently Nanotechnology. My retirement has been faithful, serving as a Permanent Deacon and on RCIA teams. I can be contacted at CPPJr.

I am appreciative of the former and present team members and associates who taught me so much: John and Carol Boudreaux, Chrissy Brogdon, Adger Brown, Eileen Clark, Eileen Schleelein Corbett, Mary Jo Curtsinger, Dianne Dawson, Paul Eleazer, Ron Evans, Mary Ann Fey, Bob and Bobby Henkel, Bob Henry, Marsha Ann Hnat, Austin Hughes, Johanna Killoy, Toby Lanz, Janice Lenti, Chuck Luce, Jeanne Mason, Barry McDaniel, Mitch Michaelis, David Mullaney, Sue Myers, Julie Rotureau, Gwen Skipper, Tracy Skipper, Frank Stiglbauer, Dev Thakur, Tom Valois, and Sr. Carol Marie Walsh SSCM.

I wish to thank my son Michael for constructing this website, and Doris Christley for editing the text on its menus.  My thanks are due to Gilles Côtė for providing me with the image ‘peace’ in lower case Greek.

I extend my thanks to the members of the Diocesan Committee that worked with me for the preparation of the Catechism material during 2001 and 2002: Rev. Msgr. Martin J. Laughlin, VG; Rev. J. Scott Newman, JCL; Rev. Mr. Frank T. Petrusak; and Rev. Mr. Billy J. Ellis.

I acknowledge the help and encouragement that I received from my deceased wife Kathleen (1932-2005)  during our 51 years of marriage.

I am grateful to my children (and their spouses): Kathleen, Charles
III (Karen), Michael (Suzan), Mary Ellen (Thomas) and Elizabeth (Andrew), as well as my grand children: Noah, Clemens and Araminta; Ashley, Courtney, Chelsey and Torey; Kim; John Paul, Jude, Mary Therese and Catherine; Caitlin, Carolyn and Mark, for their love, and for putting up with me all these years.

For their encouragement over the years I wish to thank Rev. Msgr. Charles H. Rowland, PA, JCL; Rev. Msgr. Joseph R. Roth, PA, VG ( Director of Deacons); and Bishop Robert J. Baker,
STD.

The above cryptic title in Greek, Peace be with you, is inscribed on my paver stone, my license plate, and my tombstone (awaiting my eventual arrival to join Kathleen, hopefully in heaven, Deo volente).
