My brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus may his grace and peace be with you always.

For some forty (40) plus years I have been involved in religious education as a Director of Religious Education and as a Catechist, both at the parish, Catholic middle school, and Catholic high school levels.

I have found, and been quite frustrated, by the materials put forth by the various venders of religious education materials for use in both the parish and Catholic Schools.

These texts do not teach the basic teachings our religion as found in the catechism of the Catholic Church. Each year most venders put out new text books causing more confusion. Catechists are poorly trained and need a resource for class preparation.

Students do not know the basics of their religion! And I dare to say most adults don’t either. When parents thank me for teaching their children our faith I cringe, because they are telling me they don’t know the basics of their faith. It is the responsibility of parents to be the first teachers of the faith to their children; the Church and the catechists are there to assist parents in this God given responsibility.

Therefore I present to you a religious education program based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the Bible. This project is a work in progress, and as I complete various additional parts I will post them to this website.
